Everything about the formation of this country, from the Mayflower to the first continental congress was helped along by the hand of God.  This country is special and it is time to remember what the founders and our ancestors sacrificed for.  When people say this country is not perfect, I wonder if what they mean is, it’s people are not perfect.  Our country could not have been put together any better.  All is in place.   Anyone who is willing to sacrifice can succeed.  Nothing is promised, but hard work does payoff.  It has throughout our history.  

The founders were willing to give up their lives to establish a country based in freedom and set upon the bed rock of God’s law.  The knowledge that God himself gave us our rights and our freedom is fact and one not lost on the founders.  It was John Adams who said that the constitution was made for a moral and religious people and is entirely unsuitable for any other. 

I believe in this country, the way it is structured and its people.  Unfortunately, I see today an attempt to remove God from the public square and to smash the will of the achiever.  To some it is better to push the top down then to bring the bottom higher.  And lets all celebrate some secular holiday so as not to offend anyone who might be listening. 

I will no longer sit and watch this minority speak for the majority.  I will do what I can to the best of my ability to bring patriotism back.  It is what our founders deserve.  My country will be great again.
